IDRISI includes a neural network classifier using back propagation. Users have complete control over all parameters, such as the number of hidden layers, the learning rate, and the acceptable RMS.


A vulnerability analysis was performed using IDRISI’s modeling tools, specifically, Image Calculator. Image Calculator is an interactive expression building facility that supports mathematical and logical expressions.


The Fly Through module in IDRISI uses OpenGL to provide real-time interactive flight over a DEM.
